WCTCOG Financial Reports

We offer readers of the Council’s financial statements this narrative overview and analysis of the financial activities of the West Central Texas Council of Governments. These statements are designed to provide readers wit ha broad overview of the Council’s finances, in a manner similar to a private-sector business.

These reports also serve as our annual audit.

Regional Foundation Financial Reports

West Central Texas Regional Foundation was established with the purposes of improving the health, education, safety, housing, environment and general welfare of the citizens and to plan for the future development of the area embraced by the communities predominantly within the State of Texas counties of Brown, Callahan, Coleman, Comanche, Eastland, Fisher, Haskell, Jones, Kent, Knox, Mitchell, Nolan, Runnels, Scurry, Shackelford, Stephens, Stonewall, Taylor, and Throckmorton. The Foundation operates out of Abilene, Texas and participates in grant programs as its primary source of funding.
The accounting and reporting policies of the Foundation conform to accounting principles generally accepted in the United States of America.

WCTCOG Annual Meetings

The WCTCOG annual meetings encourage and assist local units of governments to join and cooperate with one another to improve the health, safety, and general welfare of their citizens and to plan for the future development of the area embraced by the communities within the area; assist member units in solving current problems and completing capital improvements; and establish regional coordination and communication to help eliminate monetary waste from duplication and misapplication.
